Yes, I interviewd with them at the beginning of Nov. They wanted 5 references for an online survey and it was very difficult for me to get people to fill it out. Two of them had to be managers and it took those two so long just to get back to me, much less fill out the survey. Anyway, I called the recruiter once my references were completed and she told me I would get a response either way. 5 weeks since the last interview and nothing. No return phone call, email, letter, pidgeon, nothing. They have too many people working in that office not to have someone send a generic email or letter just saying, thanks but no thanks. I hope you have better luck than me, I think it is the recruiter I dealt with. I am going to apply to LIJ in the future, if I see a position that fits my interests.

I'm wondering if anyone has any advice regarding the hiring process for NSLIJ Manhasset. I got a call on Wednesday, October 12 from the Talent Acquisition Agent for the OR to come in for an interview that Friday. It went really well and I got a call that Monday night to meet with the nurse manager. I met with the nurse manager last Tuesday, but I feel that it didn't go as well as my first interview. It ended with her giving me her card and to call her in case I had any questions, and that I would probably hear from HR the following week (which is this week). I haven't heard back, so I called the Talent Agent and she said they have one more interview and that I'll probably hear back from them next week. Has anyone had any experience with this hiring process? And do you know if they will call back if I didn't get the position? Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks!
