NSLIJ critical care nurse fellowship

Hey to all you RN ( new and experienced)? Has anyone applied to the critical care fellowship program recently? I was wondering if any body know how long it takes for a call back to see if you get ( apparently they are so secretive about anything)....a week or more, any info will help thanks. I am a new graduate and really trying to get in :bookworm: :nurse:

I applied last Friday for the CC and ED fellowship, so far haven't heard of anything yet. Do they want new grads only for these fellowship programs? Are nurses benig accepted into the CC fellowship trained to bening able to float to different ICUs, including NICU and PICU? any input will be appreciated?

Yea, what I know so far is that new grads can apply (which they encourage) also experience nurses....are you a new grad or experience? They also train but I believe you have a choice on which adult icu unit you want to work....as far a PICU or NICU you had to apply for the pediatric icu fellowship, so I believe if u you apply to adult icu you float there if you apply to pediatric icu you float there.

Maybe since it starts in July, they will start to call the end of May beginning of June?
