Not Sure Where To Go From Here

Published

So here is a little back story on me. I graduated nursing school back in 2013, worked on a Med/Surg floor for a few months, enjoyed the type of work but didn't enjoy the work load. Requested a transfer to an Inpatient Rehab department, which wasn't to bad, but there was some questionable things going on in the department, so I ended up leaving there as well. Fast forward to fall of 2014, I was hired on PRN in a Cardiac Imaging department, and around the same time was allowed the opportunity to work in Cardiopulmonary Rehab department PRN as well. I worked PRN(was allowed quite a few hours) up until around 2017, in which I accepted a position full time in the Cardiopulmonary Rehab Dept. I worked there up until this last month, in which I left under good standing with the hospital.

(Sorry, I posted the above before finishing the post)

So now after having left, I'm not really sure where to go from here. I know that I want to continue to use my nursing degree to some extent but I'm not sure what specialty to look towards. I also am very involved in my church's ministry, which means I really need my weekends off if at all possible, which also limits the areas I can probably look into as well.

What are some areas that ya'll would recommend, or some areas that you may have worked in, that may go along with some of the experience that I have already built up, and may also not require weekend shifts? Thanks!
