I am trying to get licensed as a nurse in Norway. I have a bachelor's in nursing from the US and a master's in nursing as a midwife and nurse practitioner. I eventually hope to work as a midwife, however, must first be licensed as a nurse.
I have been waiting from SAFH for my final "judgement" for over 9 months. However, I do know that I need to take the mandatory 3 week nasjonale *** kurs.
I am wondering if *everyone* must take the 4 hour fagprøve (nursing test) before taking the 3 week course, of if some nurses with high education have not been required to take the 4 hour nursing test?
Any recent experiences with this system? how difficult is the test?
Thanks.
