Northern Ontario / First Nations nursing jobs

Published

Hi,

just joined this site !

I've been working in northern / remote Quebec communities for almost 2 years now and i am interested in working in northern Ontario or First Nations outposts in other provinces.

Can anyone give me some agency recommendations ?

salaries ? is it better pay to work for health canada directly or private agency ?

i am working for a private agency here in quebec, pay is about 15k a month ( before taxes ), but there is less and less contracts available, they've been hiring lots of new nurses, so i am trying to look elsewhere.

thanks,

Hi,

Is it possible to have the name of the agency you are with please?

Hi,

There is a few of them that pay pretty much the same : 415-435$ / day ( 7 days a week, even if you're not on call ) + 85 $ per diem non-deductible food allowance.

- Multi options nursing

- Diane Albert agency

- Services professionels infirmiers

- Excel personnel inc

but these fast few months there have been less and less contracts available, some agency nurses ended up working directly for the health boards because of the lack of work though agencies....I doubt they are still hiring, but you can check them out and call them.
