I am applying this cycle and I am taking the Kaplan exam sometime in January.

I am applying! I will take the Kaplan soon. Did you guys take the HESI A2 at all? I am wondering if it is similar to the Kaplan?

I took the HESI A2 and the Kaplan! In my opinion, they aren’t similar. I think the HESI A2 was easier, but I only needed to take the math and reading section. The Kaplan is not difficult, but it’s not easy. Mostly because all of the study material that is posted on the internet doesn’t accurately reflect what’s on the exam.

Hey thanks for the reply! What would you say was on the science portion of the Kaplan? Anatomy and physiology? Should I just study the systems? Or is there biology and Chemistry as well?

Hi! Have you already taken the exam? If not, the science portion of the Kaplan has a little bit of everything. Out of the 20 questions, I had about 4/5 general biology, about 2 on Chemistry, and the rest was A&P. Hope that helps! If you have already taken it, how did it go?
