I have been looking at Northeastern's accelerated BSN/MSN program and I see they have a MSN in neonatology. I am interested in applying to their accelerated BSN program/MSN with a concentration in neonatology but I am not sure if this concentration is available for direct entry students. I have looked at their website and one place appears to state that students applying to the accelerated BSN/MSN program can apply to the neonatology program while another place appears to say it is not an option. I thought the best thing to do would be to send an email but I received a form email back stating if it didn't answer my questions to send an email to xyz but I sent my original question to xyz. Has anyone else attended Northeastern and/or know if direct entry students can apply to the MSN neonatology? Any information about their program would be greatly appreciated.
I have read a lot of posts that talk about needing experience before entering a MSN program and the nice thing about Northeastern is they have a coop experience where you go and work in a hospital for 6-12 months before bridging over to the MSN program but you maintain your student status.
