I will be starting the nursing program this next fall at Trinidad State Junior College in Trinidad, Colorado (approx 200 miles south of Denver). There is no waiting list, the school admits students based on a point system, higher grades = more points, and last year they had enough spots for everyone that applied. I relocated from Denver and rented a big house and would have a room for rent, if anyone wants to look into going to school down here to avoid the waiting lists. - Amanda

Cool!! I have an aunt that lives there! no waiting sounds great! Is this for the associates only? Do you know if they have a bsn program??
Yes, it is an associates degree, they do not have a BSN program. It is only a junior college, part of the Colorado Community College System. There is a bunch of info at their website: http://www.trinidadstate.edu/academics/program-sites/nursing.html Again, I don't work at the school. I just started taking my pre-reqs there last January!
