each year the nln funds nursing education research grants that help develop new knowledge and promote evidence-based teaching.

between six and eight research studies-built around the nln priorities for research in nursing education-are funded annually. past grants have ranged from $2,000 to $20,000.

in 2010, priority will be given to studies that focus on the category of "evaluation research in nursing education: evaluating reform." more specifically, priority will be given to projects dealing with implementation strategies, studies evaluating the success of strategies for ensuring a diverse student population, partnerships between beginning and established researchers, and/or multisite data collection.

grant proposals are due february 17, 2010.
