Hi, I'm so glad you started this thread! I'm finishing my prerequisites and have 1 more to go. Do you have to have ALL done before you can apply or before you start the program? Was the HESI hard?

Hi! At the info session I went to, they did say you have to have all your prerequisites done by January 21 which is the deadline for the Wall Campus. If they're not done, you have to wait for the next application cycle, which would be 2018. The HESI wasn't too bad. The only part I was stressing about was anatomy and physiology but if you study from the el sevier study guide, you should be good! Will you have your prereq's done by Jan 21?

Hi, I hope so because two are online and one in class. Also, I have to take the HESI. A lot to cram in, but I don't want to wait until 2018. Are you going to work while you do it? Did they say anything regarding financial aid? Do you remember about how long the HESI was-and where did you take it? Sorry, for all of the questions, lol! Thanks for your help!

Also, (last question, promise) did they give you any indication of what the hours might be? I called and was told to keep my schedule open. However, I have children and for scheduling purposes, need to at least have an idea of what to expect. Thanks again! :-)

Hi Gmare, I'm just seeing all of these posts now... I thought I signed up for email notifications when someone posts on a topic I started but I didn't get any. So sorry! Were you able to take your HESI? My application is complete, I am going to submit it tomorrow (Jan 17th) as I want to call NJCU one more time and confirm that I only need to enter my prerequisite courses, not every course I've taken my entire school career. I received conflicting info from NJCU and NursingCAS so I just want to confirm again since I'm a nervous nelly about this all haha what about you? I added my previous jobs under experiences as they don't expect us to have experience in the healthcare field. Good luck!

Hi, no problem! Yes, I was thinking of doing the same for the experience. I think we need transcripts from every college we've ever attended, however, we only need to list our prerequisites. I know I've seen it mentioned. I think it was on the bottom of the page on the grade entry tab. Any tips on what I should focus on for the A&P and Bio section of HESI?
