Hi everyone, I am currently enrolled in a nursing program in San Diego, However, I am looking for another program that offers more of a remote learning for the lecture part. I heard of Nightingale College. I would like to know more if anyone is a current student. I have test anxiety too so I want to know couple things about the testing environment and setting. If you come across this please try to answer whatever question you feel you can give an answer to confidently.
1- Are your exams proctored? if yes is it done by camera or a software?
2- How many times are you expected to go to clinicals per month?
3- If you happen to live in southern California like me, where were you assigned to do your rotation at? I am trying to see if anyone was sent to a further state.
4- Can you choose to test out of material or classes if you are not an LVN or basically have another credential ?
5- Do you have your lecture on zoom or is it more of a self study offline? If you do it on zoom do you have to have your camera the whole time?
6- Overall, how would you rate your experience with the school so far? what are some cons?
7- last but not least, are we able to sit for the NCLEX in California if we are taking the classes at this school ? I have heard that if you want to pursue a higher education degree in California like an NP you might have problems with the accreditation of your previous classes so if you know anything about that let me know please.
sorry for the long post but I am so very desperate at my current school that I REALLY need to leave because I am mentally not OK. Thanks !
