I currently applied for a NICU position, I was reading an old post (2007) about then NICU floor and they mentioned that they had to work 2 8 hrs. shifts and 2 12 hrs. shifts.  I currently work 5 days a week at a clinic and hate it. plus, I found out they do rotating shifts. 

if you have worked on that floor, how was it ? 

are the shifts 3 12s? 

how do you handle rotating shifts?
