Yay! Congratulations! How do y'all decide where students go for preceptorship? We do a lottery and I'm hoping that there will still be a chance to actually get where I want....
Congrats again!

There really is no rhyme or reason. The person in charge simply puts our preferences in piles: adult, older adult, peds, etc.. Then, you cross your fingers and pray. Most students ended up getting their preferences, believe it or not. We all have varied interests, this helps. If you don't get your first choice, you usually get your second. Best of luck to you!

Thanks Heather. I appreciate the encouragment. I can not wait. I am trying to concentrate on getting through my finals, but I am so ready to be done. Oh well, it will be done soon enough.
