I am currently applying to Newman's Anesthesia program and hoping for an offer to interview in January. Are there any current students or someone who was offered a spot willing to share your statistics, or least let me know if my application stands a strong chance?

Also, is there anyone who has interviewed there recently wiling to share the details of your interview?

Thanks in Advance.

I also just applied there and hope to get invited for interview. I also applied to Case Western and Webter University. Offered interview with Case. Hope to hear soon from the others. Good luck!!

Thanks, you too!

This is the only school I applied to this go round. I applied to quite a few several years ago but life happened and I had couldn't make it to any of the interviews.

So, I am starting the process all over. But I am really nervous since I am only applying to Newman.

What do you know about the program? Why did you decide to apply to Newman? I have not heard of Webter, where is that?

Sorry, I didn't respond sooner. Guess I didn't see that you had relpied with questions. Webster is in St. Louis, MO. They are really hard to get into or even get an interview. I don't know why, b/c they are not ranked very high. I applied and have good stats 4.0 with grad level science courses and grad level stats, but I wasn't offered an interview. They don't require GRE. I do have ccrn. Been nurse for 16 years....ICU for 8+ years (MICU, SICU, Neuro/trauma, CCU and Cvicu). Was surprised but nothing I can do about it. I don't really hold to much stock in it since Case (#7 rank) invited me for an interview and was also invited fo rinterview with Newman. Wasn't offered a spot this year with Case, but was glad to have the experience interviwing with them. Will apply there again next year, if needed. I cose Newman b/c they are not too far from St. Louis. GRE requirement wasn't real high. I have 1000 combined. Do not want to retake. Good luck with your interview. Mine is Jan 29th. Maybe we'll meet.
