New York University (NYU) non-accelerated second degree program 2025

Hi everyone, 

I was just wondering if anyone has applied to NYU for the second-degree non-accelerated option. I applied for the Spring 2025 semester, and I still have not heard anything from them. Good luck to everyone who applied! I hope we all get in 🙂

I applied sept 15th and haven't heard back yet! Anxiously checking the admissions portal everyday. I saw on another forum that the accelerated students started hearing decisions but I'm not sure if any non-accelerated students heard anything back yet. When did you apply?

I applied on the very last day which was September 15th. I was actually shocked to hear back so fast!! Very impressive considering the number of applications but don't lose hope you still have until the end of December.

Do you mind sharing your stats? I haven't heard anything yet today and I'm getting kinda worried 😭. Hopefully they'll send something out soon. Did anyone else hear back today?

To be quite honest.. I wasn't the super perfect college student but I averaged a 3.4 for my undergraduate.. I have a couple Cs in there including some of my prerequisites but I also made sure to prioritize my personal statement and recommendation letters I'm not sure if that helped me in the process of getting in.. did you add any professional recommendations?

I included one professional I haven't completed any prerequisites yet though 😞 I really thought I would've heard back today

I did some research for you on some other responses and it seems like someone reached out to admissions regarding the same situation.. admissions said the latest you can hear something is by the end of December which I believe.. I really hope you get it please keep me posted if you hear back from them!! I'm sure you will..

I heard results back today! They sent an email saying I got an update on my portal.  I unfortunately did not get in but I'm hoping to re-apply in the fall after I have a few pre-requisites under my belt. Good luck everyone 💕

Hi! Do you mind sharing your stats when you applied? I applied for Fall 2025. I only have one prerequisite.
