New to Traveling....

Hi all,

I'm a 24 y/o RN (BSN) with 2 years of experience in postpartum/nursery nursing. I've been thinking about making some major life changes, including quitting my current job at a horrible hospital in So Cal. I've been playing with the idea of traveling for a change of pace. Have any of you found luck in finding a job in this specialty? Also, any suggestions on agencies to go with or stay away from. I'm up for living almost anywhere besides the west coast (I've lived here for 6 years) so if you have any input on locations too, i would really appreciate it. Thanks!!

Can I ask what hospital you are currently working for?

My wife does pp/mother baby and we have had a tough time finding that position in the entire state of California. She finally had to accept a permanent position at Hoag in Newport Beach:cry:.

But if you are willing to go anywhere then you should have no problem finding a position:D California is tough since everybody wants to come here (Nursing ratio's:yeah:)
