In January I'll be moving 375 miles away to a new state. I'll be able to begin working at a new job on 2/1/08. My question is regarding time frame to send resumes to potential new employers.
I have no experience with this, as I've had the same job (my first job) for 13 years. I'm currently planning on mailing out resumes and cover letters mid December, and going to new town for the second week of January for interviews.
Does this seem like a legit time frame? I don't want to send too soon or wait until the last minute.
Please, someone with experience in moving and starting a new job, let me know if I'm going about this properly, and/or offer advice. I'm nervous wreck, and I'd really like some guidance. For some reason no one ever seems to reply to my posts here, but I'm really, really hoping someone can offer some insight to maybe ease a little of my worries about the right time frame.
Many, many thanks in advance,
