It will take you to the State of FL page regarding reciprocity with other state CNA licenses. If you don't have the license before you move, then go back a page to: http://www.doh.state.fl.us/mqa/cna/cna%5Fhome.html That page will give you all the info you need to get a test date.
There are a ton of LTC facilities in FL. Just look them over and see what's right for you. You might apply at FL Hospital, too.

Hi everyone,
I have a question. Okay, I am moving to Orlando in June. I plan on going to Florida Hosptial college of health sciences for nursing school. But, while I'm finishing my pre-req's I want to work as a CNA. The thing is, I will graduate my CNA program here in Chicago in May, but the state boards in Chicago are not until the end of june. I wanted to be moved to Florida by then. I already know that I can just take the boards when I get to Florida, but does anyone know if they offer CNA boards on a regular basis or if there is a specific date that they are given, like in Chicago? I just don't want to be jobless when I get there. Also, does anyone know of the good LTC facilities to apply for a CNA position in Orlando? Thanks so much!!
