I was wondering if I had to be an RN be for an LPN nurse or LPN before RN. And how long will both class take. Also how much do they each get paid a month, and year.
Also do I need to get my CNA before getting anyother degree like RN or LPN?

You do not have to be a RN before you get your LPN or and LPN before a RN. A RN is actually higher up than a LPN. And in most states you do not have to have your CNA before nursing school.
There are pre-requisites though, like A&P, micro, chemistry, math, and those kinds of things. If you are really looking to enter nursing, I would pick a college and sit down with a guidance counselor and find the best fit and option for you.
Also, you can get your LPN now and bridge to be a RN later. That is what I am doing. I finish with my LVN in a month and a half and will pursue my RN next year while I'm working.
Hope that helps and wasn't too jumbled to read. Good luck with whatever you decide to pursue!!
Thnxs so much yes you really helped me alot and it wasnt hard to read :)

I would recommend that you take as much science and math as you can in high school. Not the stuff for wimps, take the hard stuff...AP level if you qualify in biology, chemistry, physics and math. If you are a good science and math student, this will make nursing school much easier AND these classes are very important for your critical reasoning skills. I was the only girl taking physics and calculus my senior year...and let me tell you....I really learned how to think and study in these classes and that has never left me all these years later. I tell all young people to get their BSN if possible, but to avoid the for profit schools that have no standards for admission, questionable level of rigor and quality of education, have low graduation rates and will leave you in a lot of debt. Find a good state school or a private non profit school that has been around a long time with a good reputation.
Best to you,
