New to Stuart, FL!!

Thank you!!! Congrats on the purchase and good luck to you as well. Hope you don't mind me asking where do you plan on getting your RN? I have my ASN and I need to start working on my BSN asap. And yes I really hope to hear from and hopefully meet some of the neighborly PSL and Stuart nurses. :)

Don't mind at all....no concrete plans, but I've been researching Keiser College and IRSC. Not many option to choose from up there and I'm not sure if I'm willing to travel outside the area. Here in Fort Lauderdale where I am now, there's a school/college on every corner (so to speak).

Yeah! I understand what you mean, I'm origninally from Miami. I did my pre-reqs while still there but I graduated nursing school in Virginia. Finished in December, moved back to miami and took boards in January. So I've been an RN for less than a year. New graduate nursing jobs are hard to find in south florida so I applied everywhere. PLS was a good prospect. When do you finish LPN? :)

I'll be done in December and then off too studying, a whole lot of studying. I'm in Fort Lauderdale, yeah everything in Florida (at least the south) is terrible(pay, jobs, cost of living, education, and crime). PSL is a better median, but probably not as many jobs.

Martin is a great place to work =) the only system in the area I would even consider. Jmho.
