New RN moved to FL

Hi everyone,

I took the FL boards 3 weeks ago and passed; and i moved to Kissimmee, fl about 2 weeks ago. I am searching and applying for jobs but i'm not getting positive responses. I applied to 5 hospitals in the orlando/kissimmee area (including one that offered a GN positions earlier this year). At this point, i'm starting to get nervous and don't know what to do. Am i doing something wrong? How long it took you to find a job? Any suggestions about the area and where is hiring? Please reply.

I applied to a hospital in Orlando a couple of times and received no response - have you thought about working outside the area? Sanford? Lakeland? - I think some of the Lakeland/Winter Haven hospitals pay better anyway - or even Heart of Florida? Best of Luck
