FYI for Florida nurses....there is now another CEU requirement for licensure/re-icensure--from the FL BON website:
Medical Errors - The Proposed rule (64B9-5.001, F.A.C.) to implement the requirement for a 2-hour course on the prevention of medical errors as required by s. 456.013(7), F.S., was formally adopted at the February Board meeting. No provision was made for delay. For those nurses now in renewal, complete the renewal application before the deadline of April 30th; take the first available medical errors course, and document in your continuing education records.

Apparently this requirement takes effect immediately and must be completed as soon as possible for nurses renewing this cycle (before April 2002!!)
