NEW NMC EXAM

World Registration

Published

Hi fellow nurses!

Earlier today I took the NMC Exam for Adults required in the new NMC registration process. To cut the long story short, I failed the exam. I was disappointed because I was kind of confident with my answers and I was really expecting to have passed the exam only to find out later today that I didn't. Is there anyone out there who have taken the exam and passed? Please help us out. I have squeezed online search engines for resources but all I could rely on is the blueprint they have on the website which is not much of a help really.

I hope someone could provide some input.

Thanks in advance!

My recruiter in the UK told me that some nurses have been re-assessed from the NMC and told they had passed. I don't know when they were contacted after the exam though. I think it's unrealistic to expect someone to get ALL 40 critical questions right, from what I've been told, one of those wrong and you automatically fail. I'm taking the exam next week, I've been studying NCLEX books just to refresh. As the blueprint is ridiculous to study. I took the NCLEX about a year ago. I was told the Code is crucial as well. Do you have any advice now that you've taken it?

i studied like hell, and still failed. nobody is passing the exam!
