Cograts on going back to school! My advice is just to be organized and stay on top of any assignments, and studying. Set up a study schedule if you can. Try and make a couple of friends in each class so you can study together, get help if needed, or just aren't sure about something the teacher said (get cell#'s & email). For the TEAS buy the ATI study guide. Work through it and then do the practice test with a timer as though it were real. Then you can see what you need to work on more and if you need to speed up. Good Luck!

i just took my teas v exam this past friday. i will admit, i was super nervous but ended up doing pretty well thanks to some major studying and keeping my nerves under control. have you purchased the teas v study guide book? this book helped tremendously and i also bought the online practice exam (a) from the ati website. these are the only two things i had used to study. i know others mention use of the kaplan nursing book and so on. but the test itself is pretty basic until you get to the science portion. be sure to study up on chemistry, meiosis/mitosis, anaphase/prophase, human ap such as your systems, heart function etc. the online practice exam helped with the actual teas exam for me. it lets you take the practice test and then scores you exactly like the real thing. it also gives you a breakdown of the exact areas you need to study. :) so what i did was i took the practice test after about 2 weeks of studying the book and then studied the areas i scored low in. then 1 week before actual exam i took the practice test again. (you can take same practice test twice using same code and password) best of luck to you on the exam and i hope i was able to help some.

TEAS V study guide. I studied probably 15 hrs and didn't get through that whole book... but I spent a LOT of time on the math since it is the area that I do the worst in and its all pen and paper... I know how to do the math just mess it up... ended up getting a 92% overall and there were SEVERAL things I learned and had questions on that I learned directly from the book!
