New Graduate Programs in SD, CA

Hi Everyone! -

I am currently in nursing school in Alabama but want to move back home (San Diego) after I graduate. Just to get an idea, I've been looking at jobs in the San Diego area and felt defeated because 98% of the ones I found, you have to have experience. So, I'm over here like "How do I apply for a job and have no experience?" (Keep in mind that my school has a 5th semester preceptorship)

Well, I found that some hospitals have a "New Grad" programs (like Rady Children's).

My questions are: How do these programs work? How do I get into one being out-of-state and all? and lastly, How often do these applications come around?
