Specialties Oncology
Published Apr 24, 2004
I will be graduating in May and I am very interested in Oncology. Currently I work at John's Hopkins as a nurse intern and love the oncology floor. The floor I am on is more critical care oncology.
Are most of the oncology floors more like critical care (I know most of them are considered med/surg floors)? Does anyone have suggestions as to where I would get the best experience as a new graduate? I am wanting to move, but I have been offered a job at Johns Hopkins and wonder if this is an chance to further my career? Does it matter right now where you get your experience since there is such a shortage?
Thanks!
