New grad wound care

Hey,

I've had the opportunity to interview with District nurses (mostly wounds and catheters) and am wondering if experienced wound nurses would recommend it immediately out of graduating. Why/why not?

Future dreams are a bit of a mixed bag at the moment - cardiac, forensic and rural all sound very interesting to me (this position would be rural).
