New Grad/RN with interview to work on oncology unit

Published

Hi everyone! I'm new to this site and I'm glad I found it because I've learned lots of cool things from everyone! I just graduated, passed boards, and now finally have an interview for a position on the oncology unit at one of my local hospitals. I've never really had to interview for a job before and was wondering if any of you had tips. I was so surprised when I got the call that I didn't ask the woman any questions! Any help would be great! Thanks!

I think that it helps if you tell them what it is that you plan on doing to further you education in the oncology field...like that you would eventually like to be chemo certified or that you would like to get your OCN certification, etc.

anyways good luck to you!
