Hi! I'm currently in a MSN program and have been working as an RN for a few months now. I'm hoping to do a residency after graduating in August 2023, but I'm concerned about some programs' requirement of not exceeding about 6-12 months of work as an RN. The job I have now (eye surgery OR nurse) doesn't relate much to the residency I want (Oncology), so I'm wondering if there's a way around this maximum work requirement? I have to work to pay for school but also don't want to be at a disadvantage to apply to programs!
