Hi. I'm a newly licensed FNP in the Boston area. I'm not finding many opportunities for new grads.
It's very slim pickings unless you're a PNP...should have chose psychiatry I guess, big money too. Does anyone have any suggestions or advice? Much appreciated!

Have you contacted community health centers? They are often willing to hire new grads.

Please don't pick a specialty based on money. You will be doing yourself and your patients a disservice. If you enjoy psych, go for it, but don't do it if you don't.
I've been job searching for about 4 months and I would say 75% of the available positions are in psychiatry and the money is phenomenal. So yeah, if you're interested, go for it. Good luck in school !
Just saw a posting for a job at BI-Deaconess in Ortho looking for 0-1 years experience. Check out their website and see what else they might have.
Hi! Thanks! I'll check it out!
