I was just accepted to the FNP program at Hampton University. :yeah:I wanted to know if anyone is enrolled now or if anyone has completed the program. I really would appriciate tips from any FNP students about my future journey.

Hi, I didn't have to do an interview, I guess my Resume and my 4 page personal statement was enough. Are you trying to get accepted for the fall of 2009?

I'm trying for spring 2010, the only issue for me is that I want to have children.. and i don't want to wait after school.. i'm going to be thirty two... when i'im done with school I'll be 36.. I don't want to start having children at 36!

So where will you be attending FNP school? I'm thinking of going to Mount Saint Vincents, in Rivedale, New York.....

I just want a change in my career. I'm tired of bed side care nursing!

I am attending Hampton University in Virginia, Do you already have your BSN or are you doing a bridge program?

I have a BSN... but i can't attend in fall 2009..

I wish you the best, how long is that program.. are you going part time??

Thanks, I am going to go part-time at my job and go full time to school. I figure I can pick up extra hours at work if I need to however, I have a 4 year old and I am a single parent. This hopefully won't be to overwhelming; I have great family support.

I just got accepted into HU's FNP program. I will be taking nine credits this semester and want to know if any one else has taken any of the graduate courses and can tell me what to expect? Thanks
