We have opened a new forum : Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
The Doctor of Nursing Practice degree is designed for nurses seeking a terminal degree in nursing practice and offers an alternative to research-focused doctoral programs. DNP curricula build on traditional master's programs by providing education in evidence-based practice, quality improvement, and systems leadership, among other key areas. The DNP forum is a place to discuss the DNP degree and your career as a DNP-prepared nurse. What barriers to practice have you encountered? Has your scope of practice changed? Let's talk about the impact it has on nursing.
Hopefully this will be a great place for others to learn more about the degree as well as network with others who are thinking about pursuing the degree, or who have already obtained this and are out in the work-force.
Please come and join in the discussion.
