NEW CRNA with kids.. hows the new schedule?

This questions goes out to CRNAs with kids that recently graduated.. say no more than 5-10 years.. How is the new schedule? Do you feel like your missing out on a lot of events for your kiddos? I know the money is great, but do you think it was worth it? How is your quality of life now? Would you have preferred to go the NP route? any help would be greatly appreciated.. And before any flaming goes on.. just want to see how the fresh CRNAs feel about their new schedules.. kinda want to see how its going.. thats all. thanx guys!

The schedule is going to depend totally on where you work. You can work at places that have 8hr shifts with and no call. There are variety of schedule options. Take a look on Gasworks.
