Leaving my favorite hot cocca for Rose Queen---just add some Truvia for low calorie hot chocolate fix:

Mmmm, hot cocoa! My husband used to do homemade hot chocolate for the family by heating milk, sugar, powdered cocoa, a little vanilla and half-and-half in a pot on the stove, then topping it with marshmallows or Cool Whip (depending on preference). It was the best ever, and it spoiled me for using packaged cocoa mix.

At Christmas last year, my son made cocoa for the first time in the Crock Pot, and he would have made his Dad proud because it came out perfectly. I almost cried over it because it tasted just like Bill's, and I hadn't had anything like it in over three years at the time. Good memories.?
