Nevada State College (NSC)Spring 2023

Updated:   Published

Application cycle is about to begin and it looks like they updated the ranking system, added two essay prompts, and offering a summers off program?! Pretty cool!
Anyway, I took my prereqs/ associates at CSN and thought I'd give NSC a shot, but their point system is confusing me LOL. Using their prior point system, I would be applying with a 93, I think? With the new point system, I calculated  737/1000 points.

GPA: 3.74

Grades (all first attempt):

BIOL 251: A+

BIOL 223 and 224: A-

TEAS Score: 86%

IDK if my score would be competitive enough! if you're comfortable,  please share what you all are applying with! Thank you and good luck!

Oops, Never mind!** My advisor sent me the info with the excel sheet and my anticipated score is 90.34. However, Im not sure if it’s the updated score system. Is this a solid score? I might just apply to both tracks

Your scores were very similar to mine (all from NSC), and I got an 86 on the TEAS as well... I'm curious, did you get in that cycle? I got in the full time track for fall '23.

Yes I did! I was accepted for the full time track and about to finish second semester. Good luck and enjoy your break while you can...it's a lot
