After a 7 month employment break, I am getting ready to go back to work. I managed to luck into a nursing position over here in Germany. It's L&D which is where I worked for 2.5 years in the states before we moved. Although it's only been 7 months since I worked it feels so much longer than that. I am really nervous about going back to work. In all honesty I haven't done much to keep current. My husband was on a remote tour for the year before we moved. Between getting reacquainted with him and a cross country move it has been on the back burner. I will be getting a decent length orientation since I have to learn a new computer system. Any advice?

Seven months really is not that long and it will come back to you. Plus, each place of employment is different from the next and any new person starting has to learn the ropes of that particular facility. I am sure you will do fine.
