Needing advice on a needle issue

Was just wanting a bit of advice, I am applying at present to nursing or midwifery degrees as after 4 years of working as a carer I have finally decided its 200% what I want. The only problem Im having is I have a bit of a needle issue I wont call it a phobia cause I dont run away screaming but I'm uncomfortable about seeing needles entering the body. I get a bit clammy and have to concentrate on my breathing or i go a tad dizzy. Has anyone else entering a career in nursing or midwifery found anything simular or ways to overcome it?

I do feel this is somethng I can get over as when i first started working as a carer I found most bodily fluids highly disgusting and felt a bit ill but got over that within a few weeks, I am just nervous of making a fool of myself and would appreciate anyways of dealing with this issue.
