Hi Everyone! I'm a new grad who can't get a job (not here to tell my sob story!)..rather than sit around moping, waiting for callbacks, I've decided to go a head and take classes that normally would be provided to me by a hospital..I"m scheduled, for instance, for BLS and ACLS right afterward...my thinking is to make me more marketable for a potential employer. Big hurdle is finding an IV Access, aka Comprehensive Vascular Access Class. Anyone out there know of where I can take a class? Hospitals in my area (central NJ) only give these classes to their own employees, despitee my offer to pay tuition and cover their butts by insuring myself. Anyone? Buehler? (kidding) thanks so much! :wink2:
