Need suggestions for my 2nd take in NCLEX-RN

Published

Hello everyone! I really need some help on my review for my 2nd take in NCLEX RN. I already got my ATT but I haven't decided on when should I take it. I still feel incomplete. I finished a review class for 3weeks. Done reading my Kaplan STRAT 2012. Lately, I've doing NCSBN learning extension 3week course but only getting around 50-65% per lesson.

What would you guys suggest should I else be doing? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I really want to be prepared this time..Thanks!

Hi!! Im also preparing for the exam and I do recommend that you have to study the following materials:

Saunders 5th Edition (for content)

La Charity 2nd Edition

NCLEX 3500

Try to answer the first 18 chapters of La Charity for at least 3 times and also take time reading on the rationales. :loveya:

I read some of the feedbacks of those who passed and they highly recommend La Charity because it do help them a lot. Good Luck and I know we will be able to pass NCLEX!!! :yelclap:

kaplan qbank or Qtrainers are useful too.

Don't worry about the scores on NCSBN. I was scoring from 50-85. Only a few high scores over 75. The most important thing is reading the rationale. The more your practice the more you will get it. A know 2 person who used them and passed the boards.

Hello, sorry for the late reply..

@ jomayca89 - I bought my Saunders 2 weeks ago and started reading it. It's really helping me increase my core content. Thanks for that.! :yelclap:

@ MaleNurseIL - I've been thinking about that lately. I've read some reviews that questions in the qbank and QT are harder than the actual test? That will be helpful! Though I'm not sure if I'm gonna purchase the Qbank only or their On-demand.

@ Tashy Mary Kay - thank you.. That's a huge relief. I just hope the same thing will happen to me.:D

Thanks again guys.!

Someone suggested me to use the EXAM CRAM by Pearson so far it helped me a lot. Most of my friends used this and they passed.

thanks ernbabjr.. I'll go check on that one also after I finish my Saunders book.. suggestion noted :D
