I just have a few questions when it comes to OB nursing since there's so many different titles.
Ultimately I know I want to do something in the field of OB-GYN. My question is that I know there are things such as neonatal, L&D, perinatal and post-partum nurses but is there a specific kind of nurse that provides care during the pregnancy and work in the nursery or are they just normal RN's that just get hired in those departments.
Also I'm not sure if I'm actually going to go for a Master's or not but if I did, has anyone ever gotten a MS in Parent-Child. I'm not sure if it's the same as Maternal/Child and the school doesn't provide much of a description.
I know some of you will suggest being a CNM and I've been toying with the idea but I'm not sure if I want to actually be the one delivering the babies.
Thank you guys.

I suggest getting your RN, working in maternal-child to learn the ropes, then make a life-goal decision from there. You do not have to map out your entire future right now. Allow for a change in attitude. The point now is to get your foot in the door.
