I think you'll get a better idea while directly speaking to a new graduate nurse in person or via Skype. It's easy to get these answers to do your assignment but attempt setting up a meeting with a new nurse. I believe one of the most important parts of nursing is seeking out and using resources/not taking a quick way out. If you put some effort in it, the interview and answers to those questions may actually end up helping you more. Good luck!! :)

Hello,
I am a senior nursing student working on a school assignment. I need to interview relatively new working nurses. Thank you for answering!!! I really appreciate it! :)
What was your transition like from student to a new working nurse? What was your experience? Did you participate in a formal orientation or residency program? What were your biggest challenges/suprises you experienced in your first few weeks or months of practice? What strategies do you suggest or can you identify for addressing those challenges?
