Need ideas for easy memorization....

Hello. Dumb question but I really need to ask because I have memory problems sometimes. How were you guys able to memorize your lytes, what they do, and labs you need to check for certain disorderes? I have such a hard time. Some say they have used tricks they read in books, but I am really strapped tight for cash so I can't buy any new ones. Also, they won't give info on these new tricks either. Kind of stinks cuz we are not in competition anymore to get in NS, so why not help each other out? Thanks for any input you all have.
