nope, even cheapo free ones from pharmaceutical companies are good enough.

you'll really be using to measure intervals. it's about the skill, not the tools necessarily when it comest to getting good with ecgs. good luck with your class, you'll enjoy it.

Thanks..i just wanna get what my money's worth...=)

Hello im about to take an EKG class and they required us to each have our own EKG caliper...i searched the net and i found a lot of them, but i want to ask around if there is a known/ better EKG caliper...thanks a lot...your replies will surely be appreciated

God bless

You do not really need calipers. A piece of paper, pencil, and two hash marks will work just as well and best of all...it is free. Also, it is more realistic. I've never seen any dudes in the real world whipping out calipers unless that same dude was wearing a gold plated pocket protector. Intervals can be counted using the boxes.

Hello evryone, good day to all...today was the first day of my ekg class, and the teacher was so good, that even the layman can understand...guess what...as opposed to what was written on the summer term guide book...he does not require us to buy calipers...he said he will teach us how to read ecg even with just a piece of paper...oh boy...good thing the one i bought was really cheap...well thanks anyway!
