Need help, please

I am an RN at an OB/GYN office and they have put me in charge of a project to create a "congratulations on being pregnant/welcome to our office" gift bag/basket/kit" of some sort.

Anyone have any websites or info on where I can get ideas to create such a thing? All ideas welcome!

Thanks in advance!

Please try to stay away from formula propaganda.

How much do you have to spend on each bag/basket? Some nice things that you could probably get for cheap:

*A pregnancy journal

*A water bottle with your practice's logo printed on it

*Some hand cream

* Local pregnancy resources: yoga, massage, photographers, doulas, lactation consultants

I dont think there is anything wrong with formula, but try to avoid promoting just one. Maybe coupons for several brands with educational material on breast feeding. I like the idea of a journal for pregnancy and baby, magazines and info on baby safety and products for nursery and what to expect while expecting.

our clinics put together a book has answers to common pregnancy questions ( like what otc meds are ok to take, common aches and pains during preg that are normal). you might also include a magnet with the numbers to your clinic and the local ob dept. informational handouts on pregnancy, baby care, community resources, info on childbirth classes. coupons for local maternity shops, baby stuff. lotions and at home spa for mom to be to relax. also include stuff for dad as they are often left out!
