Hello everyone,
I'm a new grad RN and recently licensed...I'm stressing out on how to prepare for an Oral Interview/exam for a Registered Nurse - Mental Hospital at NAPA State Hospital in California.Does any one know the questions Please Help! Thank You!

the following are questions that were given to my class by my instructor, I hope it helps. Ihad some of the same questions come up in interviews
questionsInterview #1
1. Tell us about yourself.
2. Why did you choose this area of nursing for your first position as an RN?
3. If I were to ask one of your professors to describe you, what would she say?
4. Tell me about a clinical situation you had that required excellent communication skills.
5. Give a specific example of a time when you knew you did a good job as a nurse.
Interview #1 con't
6. If you were told that the nursing field was closed and you could not be a nurse, what would you do?
7. Why should we hire you instead of the other candidates?
8. Where do you see yourself in five years?
9. Do you have any questions for us?

6. Describe a challenging problem you faced on one of your clinical rotations. How did you solve the problem?
7. How would you respond if a doctor in a rude and haughty tone questioned your work, which you knew to be top-notch and absolutely accurate?
