NEED ADVICE

Hi,

I had interview last tuesday for an RN position with the nurse manager at the hospital. The interview went well. The NM was so nice and I was really confident answering her questions. After the interview, she told me that she will decide by end of this week which was today (friday). I was anxiously waiting for a call the whole day. Unfortunately, I didnt get any call from NM and HR. So then I called at 4pm today. The NM answered the phone and I asked her if the position is already filled and she said yes. In addition, she said HR will call me sometime next week.

Im just wondering what does she mean HR will call me next week? are the HR people make the call for rejection? or could she mean the HR will offer me a job? Please HELP...really getting anxious

Hey, Just seeing this now. Is it possible she was just really busy? I know a lot of the time when I worked at the hospital my managers would say theyd do things by a certain day and then they just didn't get a chance until a few days later. I know you posted this a couple days ago so have you heard back? Maybe you will today!! Good Luck

Could be either way. One hospital in my area makes practice of inteviewing people and then never contacts them again and then HR finally calls or emails them and tells them they didn't get the job. Can't complain but at least they're doing that. Some never respond at all which I think is so very rude if you've taken time to go there.

I hope you do get the job but I would definitely keep looking. I've learned to not count on anything less than a written job offer.

Hello there, I recently graduated as a LPN, passed my NCLEX exam and now working as a LPN, I also have my AA degree in general studies with all my ADN/BSN pre-reqs done. However, i will rather further my education as a ADN or BSN online. My question is that does anyone know a reliable and accredited online LPN to ADN or BSN brigde program, what school has the best of this program online. Please somebody advice me, thank you.
