Need advice before starting school

Published

I recently graduated from high school but i havent started college. I live in NJ and im currently working as a CNA. (I earned my CNA in high school). I wanna become an RN but im not sure which way to do it. I know there's the traditional way of 4 years of college but i've also heard that i can get my LPN first and earn my RN faster that way. I'm really confused at this point and i dont want to make the wrong decision , so any advice/insight would be greatly appreciated.

Everyone's path is different, so that is a very hard question to answer. It all depends on what your goals are. For example, I am doing community college right now just to become an RN. After that I'm going to do an RN bridge online, and even after that I'm going to continue my education and become a Nurse Practitioner. So you have to create your own path. Once you know where you want to end up, you will definitely know how to proceed. I wish you luck. I do tell young people to get the BSN if they can.
