Need Advice: Malcolm X ADN vs National Louis ABSN (Chicago-Based, In-District)

Hi everyone, I'm based in Chicago and in-district for City Colleges. I'm currently deciding between going for an ADN at Malcolm X College or doing an ABSN at National Louis University (NLU). I've been getting different tuition estimates and haven't had much luck getting detailed answers from either school.

 

If you've done either program (or are in one now), I'd really appreciate if you could share:

 

How much the total cost was (including any hidden or extra fees)?

How/where you completed your prerequisites?

Any tips for getting accepted into either program?

Whether you got any grants, scholarships, or financial aid?

Your overall experience — good or bad?
