NEED A JOB?

I currently have an opening for an Occupational Health Nurse- either a LPN or RN in Nebraska City, NE. It is sometimes difficult to find nurses in our small community. Therefore, I thought that it couldn't hurt to post some information about the position here.

Occupational Health experience is nice, but not required. I do require a good personality, positive attitude, compassion to help others, independent thinking skills, and a willingness to learn. I can teach the rest.

I am looking for either a LPN or RN to do the following:

· Provide routine and emergency treatment of employees' injuries and illnesses.

· Maintain employee medical files ensuring information is current, accurate and complete.

· Administer basics of Drug/Alcohol Program and ensure confidentiality while maintaining strict legal and ethical standards

· Conduct post-offer, pre-placement physicals.

· Provide services to control and dispense non-prescription medications.

· Assist in maintaining monthly statistics for reports.

Required Qualifications:

· LPN or RN with minimum 1 year experience (active nursing license in NE, or multi-state license in IA or MO)

· Must be certified in CPR (Basic Life Support)

· Demonstrate ability for independent judgment with analytical skills for formulating decisions.

· Good written, communication and human relation skills.

· Must be able and willing to work evening shift. Shift will be 6pm to 2:30am.

Sunday through Thursday OR Monday through Friday.

Preferred (but not required) Qualifications:

· Previous occupational health background

· Bilingual English/Spanish

Note: Required to be on-call frequently (approximately every 2 or 3 weeks). Will be paid for time on-call.
