Hello, I am in the works for studying for the NCLEX-RN. My professor suggested to study from at least 2 NCLEX books so I am currently studying the kaplan RN book and have another NCLEX RN book on the way. My uncle gave me 2 NCLEX-PN exam cram books (1 review book & 1 with just questions) for christmas and I cannot return them. I was wondering whether it would be at all helpful to run through the questions in them or would that not really help? Would they be easier and not a good preparation tool for the NCLEX-RN exam?

I am studying for the NCLEX-PN and I took a look at some of the RN prep books. In my opinion, the NCLEX-RN are more advanced questions. This being said, I think that answering the LPN questions would not be beneficial as they are in a different scope of practice. You can always sell them on ebay, craigslist, or amazon. Hope this helps.
